Britain's Prince William may shun wedding pictures in the Buckingham Palace Throne Room when he marries Kate Middleton.
The royal - who is second in line to the British throne - is said to be so concerned about a superstition suggestion people having photographs taken in the room eventually divorcing, he is eschewing pictures there at the wedding on April 29.
A source said: "Courtiers have been joking about the 'jinx' room for a while. William and Kate are also a young, fresh couple and the room is very old fashioned."
His parents Prince Charles and Diana, and uncle and aunt Prince Andrew and Princess Anne all had pictures taken in the room at the London palace and later divorced.
Prince Edward, who married Sophie Wessex in 1999, did not have a photograph taken in the room and has remained married.
Earlier this week it was reported William will follow in the footsteps of his father and grandfather the Duke of Edinburgh by wearing a traditional military outfit for his nuptials.
It has not yet been revealed who will dress Kate, 29, but British designer Bruce Oldfield is thought to be her choice after her mother and sister Carole and Pippa were spotted meeting with him at his store in London.
