Soccer’s three-time World Player of the Year Ronaldo has remained non-committal about his future, stating he may retire rather than try to prolong his storied career.
The 32-year-old Brazilian legend ruptured a tendon in his left knee while playing for AC Milan in February. He has spent nine months recovering from the injury and just recently played his first match, a charity event in Morocco.
Ronaldo turned down an offer from Siena of the Italian league last month admitting that he was uncertain about his future.
Ronaldo was named FIFA World Player of the Year in 1996, 1997 and 2002.
