Jeff Brazier is desperate to present 'The Xtra Factor'.
The 'Dancing On Ice' star says it would be his dream job to take over from Konnie Huq - who is rumoured to be getting the axe after just one series - on the ITV2 spin-off show as he knows how good it would look on his presenting CV.
He said: "Presenting 'The Xtra Factor' would be my ideal job. But I have a lot of respect for Konnie, so I don't want to be rude. As far as I know it's not even available. But in terms of my ideal presenting job, I would love to have the opportunity. I'm sure it would be the making of my presenting career."
However, Jeff - who has guest reported during the final of the ITV1 talent show for three years until 2009 and hosts the spin-off tour - is concentrating on his training for 'Dancing On Ice' with professional partner Isabelle Gauthier for the time being.
He said: "I'm doing OK on it. I haven't dropped my partner Isabelle for a while. I was trying to drop her every now and then as I think it's good for her, keeps her down to earth. The worst one was when I dropped her on her face. Not good."
