Vanessa Feltz dreams of Big Brother hosting role

Vanessa Feltz wants to host 'Big Brother'.

The 48-year-old presenter - who has appeared on both 'Celebrity Big Brother' and 'Ultimate Big Brother' - would be delighted to be asked to front the show if rumours it is to return are true, but thinks bosses would prefer a younger former contestant such as 'Big Brother 11' winner Josie Gibson.

She said: "Obviously I would be delighted to be asked - but I would be amazed if they chose someone like me. I would think they'd want someone like Josie Gibson - she would be brilliant. She's superb, she could be the next Alison Hammond."

Former contestant Nikki Graeme - who struck up a friendship with Vanessa during 'Ultimate big Brother' - would also back her pal if the host's job came up.

She said: "Hopefully one day 'big Brother' will be back. It would be great to have it back to how it once was.

"It should have Davina McCall on board though, because she is 'Big Brother'. But Vanessa would be brilliant - a fresh start."
