Interpol has called for the help of authorities in multiple European countries in finding 6-year-old twins abducted from their mother’s home in St. Sulpice, Switzerland on January 30. An international Yellow Notice missing persons alert was issued Saturday for Alessia and Livia Schepp. The girls were abducted by their father, Matthias Schepp.
Schepp’s body was found Friday in southeast Italy. He apparently committed suicide by stepping in front of a train in Cerignola late Thursday night. Authorities say Schepp was upset about marital problems. Italian police are searching Cerignola and surrounding areas for the twins.
Alessia and Livia both have blonde hair and are about 3 feet, 9 inches tall. Alessia was last seen wearing a red and white stripped T-shirt, a brown jacket, jeans and black shoes. Livia was last seen wearing a green T-shirt, purple jacket, jeans and Adidas shoes.
