AVANIR Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:AVNR) declined 0.61% to $4.09 after the Company released 2011 first quarter results. Net loss was $12.1 million or $0.11 loss per share compared to a net loss of $4.8 million or $0.06 loss per share in the prior year quarter. Royalty revenue was $1.8 million versus $1.5 million in the first quarter of fiscal 2010.
