Britain's Duchess of Cornwall has hinted she could be queen one day.
Camilla - who has been married to heir to the throne Prince Charles for five years - was asked by an eight-year-old at a children's centre in Wiltshire: "Are you going to be queen one day".
Taken aback, the mother-of-two replied: "You never know."
It comes after Prince Charles told the US channel NBC last November that his wife "could be" Queen Camilla when he takes the throne.
Clarence House said at the time that Camilla would be Princess Consort if her husband became king.
The duchess made the remarks as she was welcomed by 130 children to King's Rise Children's Centre in Chippenham where she met staff and families who benefit from its social care and support.
It was during a meet and greet that eight-year-old Rebecca from nearby Charter Primary School asked Camilla the about her future as a royal.
Director of child and family services at the RISE Trust, Pauline Monaghan, said: "We were all very, very excited to meet a member of the royal family. The families in Chippenham identify with her - she has a connection with Wiltshire and we're so proud she could come."
Meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth is currently looking for staff to create an eco-garden in the grounds of Buckingham Palace.
The £15,000-a-year gardener will be required to turn the 42-acre grounds into one of London's largest green gardens and encourage wildlife including bees, fungi and birds.
