Liam Neeson: 'Hangover 2 shoot was intense'

Liam Neeson says shooting his cameo in 'The Hangover 2' was "intense".

The Northern Irish actor - who replaced Mel Gibson in the small role of a tattoo artist in the movie - reveals he was only on the set for one day, but had a great time despite the pace of shooting.

He said: "I didn't make it to Thailand. I made it to Warner Bros' studios. They built a set, which could've been in Thailand.

"It was fun. It was. It was pretty intense. I was only there for one day - a Sunday, as far as I remember."

The 58-year-old star particularly enjoyed meeting up with the film's other stars, Bradley Cooper - with whom he starred in the 2010 version of 'The A-Team' - and the other actors Zach Galafianakis and Ed Helms.

He told MTV.com: "It was good to be with Bradley Cooper - he's a buddy - and the other two gentlemen, I'd never me them before, but I love what they do.

"The three of them are just, they reinvent the Three Stooges in a very funny way."

'The Hangover 2' - the follow-up to the first movie in 2009 - is set to hit cinemas in summer 2011.
