Kerry Katona's 'torturous' DOI attempts

Jason Gardiner thinks watching Kerry Katona ice skate is "torture".

The straight-talking 'Dancing On Ice' judge - who has been criticised for his harsh comments in the past - is unimpressed with the 30-year-old reality star's efforts on the ITV1 show so far, and is doubtful she will get any better because of her nerves.

After her latest routine with partner Dan Whiston on Sunday (06.02.11), he said: "She's been doing this since October and that was her best? I think she may have reached the limit of her ability.

"She's still petrified of the ice while everyone else has got over that. It's torture watching her."

However, Jason wasn't so critical of all the show's contestants, and admits he is full of admiration for Laura Hamilton who is also competing on the show, as children's TV presenter's moves have given him "goose-bumps".

He added to The Sun newspaper: "She moves beautifully and I'm developing a bit of a crush. Sunday's dance moved me - and it's not in my nature to get emotional. I had goose-bumps throughout the performance and I was genuinely proud of her."
