AP Top 25 College Football Schedule: #10 Ohio State Buckeyes Take on Michigan Wolverines in Heated Rivalry

#10 Ohio State Buckeyes will take on their archrivals Michigan Wolverines in what is perenially the biggest rivalry in college football.

The Buckeyes will host the Wolverines on Saturday at noon. However, unlike most years, this game is heavily favored to one side and the winner of this game will not automatically become the Big Ten champion.

Ohio State (9-2, 6-1 Big 10) has a chance to win their fourth consecutive Big Ten title if they win and Michigan State defeats Penn State. The Big Ten championship will grant them an automatic BCS berth. Ohio State is currently in a three-way title atop the Big Ten standings along with the Spartans and Nittany Lions.

The Buckeyes also have a strong chance at winning five in a row over rival Michigan (3-8, 2-5 Big 10) for the first time in school history.

Ohio State has struggled overall on offense this season, ranking 88th in the nation in total offense (332.7 yards per game) and 107th (of 119) in passing offense (144.8). However, UM is just 66th in total defense (362.45).

Last week, freshman sensation Terrelle Pryor threw just 49 yards, his lowest since becoming a starter in September, but had a career-high 110 yards on 13 carries against Northwestern. Chris "Beanie" Wells also had his third 100-yard performance in the past four games with 143 yards on 24 attempts.

In the Ohio State's last home meeting against Michigan in 2006, Wells, who was then a freshman, rushed for 222 yards and two touchdowns in a 14-3 victory as the #1 Buckeyes went to the national championship after the win against the #2 Wolverines.
