A water ride at a British theme park has been relocated after staff claimed the original site was haunted.
Builders working on new attraction Storm Surge at Thorpe Park in Staines, South East England, claimed to encounter several strange phenomena around it, including feeling the temperature drop suddenly and seeing what appeared to be a headless monk.
After a paranormal detection agency was called in to investigate it was discovered that the ride was being built on an ancient burial ground, known as Monk's Walk.
Paranormal expert Jim Arnold, who carried out tests at the site, said: "Results were picked up immediately, with orbs, ghostly images in photography and ouija reaction results being strongest around the site where they were proposing to build Storm Surge."
