AP Top 25 College Football Schedule: #2 Texas Tech Red Raiders Battle #5 Oklahoma Sooners in Big 12 Matchup

#2 Texas Tech Red Raiders will travel to face #5 Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday in one of college football's biggest games. The game will air on ABC at 8pm.

If Texas Tech (10-0, 6-0 Big 12) wins, they will become the sole winner of the Big 12 South division. However, if Oklahoma (9-1, 5-1 Big 12) wins, it will force a three-way tie between Texas Tech, Oklahoma and the Texas Longhorns, who would each have one loss in conference play. The tiebreaker will be based on BCS standings, in which Texas Tech is currently second, Texas third and Oklahoma fifth.

For the third consecutive week, Texas Tech will play its biggest game in school history. Two weeks ago, Texas Tech defeated then-No. 1 Texas, 39-33, on Michael Crabtree's last-second touchdown catch, then blew out then-No. 8 Oklahoma State, 63-20. The week prior to the Texas game, the Red Raiders defeated then-No. 19 Kansas, 63-21.

The wins have prompted Texas Tech quarterback Graham Harrell into the national spotlight and atop the Heisman Trophy candidates list, along with Crabtree. Harrell leads the nation's top passing offense (433.7 yards per game), second-best total offense (566.3 ypg) and third-best scoring offense (47.9).

Against Oklahoma State, the Red Raiders went over 600 yards in total offense for the fourth time this season. Crabtree had eight receptions for 89 yards and three touchdowns, his 13th straight game with a scoring reception. Last season, Crabtree had 12 catches for 154 yards and a touchdown in a 34-27 victory over the Sooners.

The Sooners are led by another Heisman frontrunner in Sam Bradford. The Sooners lead the FBS with 51.4 points per game as Bradford directs the third-best passing offense (355.5) and total offense (549.8).

DeMarco Murray and Chris Brown each ran for 100 yards against Texas A&M last week, and they've combined for 1,586 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns. Juaquin Iglesias has team highs of 51 receptions and 853 yards, while Manuel Johnson, Jermaine Gresham and Ryan Broyles each have at least 30 catches, 500 yards and five TDs.
