Savannah State University School Shooting, Campus on Lockdown

Savannah State University in Savannah, Georgia is currently on lockdown after a reported shooting on the school’s campus.

Early reports have indicated that two people were taken away from the campus in an ambulance but their condition is not known. According to one report the gunfire was said to be accidental.

Savannah State University is Georgia’s oldest public Historically Black University and has an enrollment of 3,200 students.
