Katona clan voted world's most dysfunctional family

Kerry Katona's clan have been voted as the world's most dysfunctional family.

Beating the likes of the Jacksons, Lohans and the Osbournes to be picked by 45 per cent of the Brits questioned in the poll undertaken by TV channel FX, the 'Dancing On Ice' star and her four children - Molly, nine, Lilly-Sue, eight, Heidi, three, and Max, two - have been officially named as the most unorthodox family on the planet.

After two failed marriages to former Westlife singer Brian McFadden and Warrington-based taxi driver Mark Croft, as well as battling substance abuse and bankruptcy in recent years, Kerry was also voted as the world's most dysfunctional celebrity mum with 49 per cent of the vote.

Meanwhile, US rocker Courtney Love came in second place after causing a stir last year with her bizarre ramblings on twitter, with Britney Spears - who was put on involuntary psychiatric hold in 2008 - taking third ranking in the poll.

Despite topping the charts in both polls, Kerry recently admitted she was taking part in 'Dancing On Ice' in the hope of making her four children proud.

She said: "I haven't really thought about public reaction. I just don't want to embarrass my kids. It's all about having fun and doing my kids proud. I want my kids to go into school and say, 'Kerry Katona, that's my mum'. That's all I want."

The survey was commissioned by TV channel FX, ahead of the arrival of 'Arrested Development' on the channel on February 8.
