Possible Caylee Anthony Sighting Caught on Camera, Investigators Looking into Validity

A shopper at a Florida mall captured an image of a young girl reportedly bearing resemblance to Caylee Anthony, the three-year-old Orlando girl who disappeared in June and is considered to be dead by police.

The image as taken and then delivered to an investigation firm that has been working with the Caylee’s grandparents in an attempt to locate her. Caylee’s mother, 22-year-old Casey Anthony, remains behind bars awaiting her January trail where she faces first-degree murder charges.

Casey Anthony has denied any involvement in Caylee’s disappearance, telling investigators that she dropped her daughter off with a babysitter and when she returned both were gone. A large amount of evidence has pointed to Casey playing a role in the disappearance, evidence that includes DNA samples found in the trunk of a car she was driving that suggested human decomposition and hair strands belonging to Caylee.

The picture that was turned over to D & A Investigations was also given to Orange County police and the FBI.
