Queen Rania of Jordan has been blasted for getting involved in Jordanian politics.
The wife of King Abdullah II of Jordan was attacked by the country's tribal leaders for what they claim is her wish to focus on her own interests and they have slammed her as a "danger" to the nation according to the BBC.
A statement from the tribes from Jordan's East Bank said: "She is building power centres for her interest that go against what Jordanians and Hashemites have agreed on in governing and is a danger to the nation and the structure the state... and the institution of the throne,"
The statement comes a week after the king sacked his entire government and made the decision to form a new cabinet yesterday with the help of ex-army general and former Prime Minister Marouf al-Bakhit after thousands of people took to the streets to protest against a rise in food and fuel prices.
Protesters main demand has been for the sacking of Prime Minister Samir Rafai and while the people have called for change they have been supportive of the monarchy so far and it is believed they are willing to accept change under the rule of the king.
