Jonathan Ross' unusual OBE use

Jonathan Ross wears his OBE medal while watching 'Big Brother'.

The 50-year-old television presenter was awarded the Order of the British Empire for services to broadcasting in 2005, but admits the accolade does not play a big part in his life and only comes out occasionally.

He said: "In the Ross household, it's worn for screenings of 'Big Brother'. And it's not the impressive looking. It's like a small, smudgy, embroidered button."

Jonathan also believes rap star P. Diddy - well known for his love of diamonds and gold - should give the traditional British award, which is usually presented by the reining monarch, a makeover.

He said: "They need P. Diddy to get in there on the design, give it a bit of bling and a gold chain."

However, it would appear Prince Charles is concerned about the whereabouts of the presenter's OBE, as he continually questions him as to why he is not wearing it.

Jonathan added to Radio Times magazine: "Every time I do a line-up to see Prince Charles he always asks me why I'm not wearing it."
