Liam Gallagher says Noel will have a Beady ear

Liam Gallagher isn't worried about impressing his brother Noel Gallagher with his new band.

The frontman formed Beady Eye with ex-Oasis members Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Chris Sharrock merely hours after the guitarist quit the super-group and although Liam thinks his sibling will definitely listen to their LP 'Different Gear, Still Speeding' he doesn't care what he thinks of it.

He said: "He's a music lover, so I'm sure he'll have his ear out. I'm sure it's not gonna make or break his day. Just like his [planned solo] album. I'll give a listen to it when it comes out. But it ain't gonna make or break my f***ing day, you know what I mean? You don't just turn off 'cause we're not in a band together. He'll be checking it out. Of course he will."

Liam is convinced Beady Eye will be bigger than Oasis ever were and admits he is enjoying the challenge of being in a new group because he believes everyone had gotten lazy in Oasis.

He explained in an interview with Vanity Fair magazine: "When you start with a new band, you're full of excitement. Keeping an eye on things. You want everything to be right down the line. Going so long with a band, you probably do tend to take your eye off the ball a little bit, whereas with this, nothing's slipping by the net.

"This feels like it can be f***ing massive. The sound feels like it can be f***ing massive. The songs are there. Whether people buy it or not is two different things, but already the music is bigger than Oasis."
