Love doesn't take off

A Chilean woman called in a bomb threat to the aeroplane her boyfriend was on because she didn't want him to leave the country.

Grace Guajardo was so distraught at the thought of her boyfriend Rodrigo Gomez going to Chile to take up a new job she forced an evacuation of the flight, delaying more than 300 passengers.

She stopped the aircraft by calling authorities to warn them a bomb was on board and has since been charged with making the false threats.

After her court appearance she said: "It wasn't the best thing to do, but at least he's here, I'm sorry, but I did it for love."

Rodrigo, 39, added: "I can't be angry, I have to support her. What she needs is love, nothing more."
