Super Bowl Ads can be Bad for Your Health

by Daun Lee

Every year football and fans tune into the big game to get a look at the many commercials produced just for the event which account for over two-thirds of the advertising. The world of advertising uses high production values with a Hollywood flair to push the sales of their food products which nutritionists agree are bad for your health. Many of the ads feature junk food and soft drinks filled with calories, high amounts of fat, sodium and sugar which in small amounts are fine, but overindulgence spurred on by commercials add to Americas growing waistlines. Oftentimes liposuction along with physical activity can help make those waistlines smaller.

Obesity is a growing issue for Americans who are continuously tempted by savvy advertisers to consume more junk food. For many people, studies reveal they will be more likely to enjoy snack if they see commercials. The many Americans who have fought the battle against fat still are dissatisfied by their bodies. Once the allure of junk food has been overcome and the excess weight has been dropped some still experience areas of fat deposits and liposuction is a solution.  Using some discretion in eating habits will allow the millions of overweight people have better figures.

Those individuals who have experience weight loss and not become lured by the clever food advertisement’s that dominate the Super Bowl may still have fatty deposits. Even though diet and exercise are effective in weight loss they sometimes don’t target the problem areas that liposuction can.
