Germans Held in Kosovo for Throwing Explosive at EU Headquarters in Pristina

Three Germans suspected of throwing an explosive device at the EU headquarters in Pristina have been ordered to be held following a decision by a Kosovan judge.

According to the three Germans they were investigating the Nov. 14 attack when they were detained and accused of carrying out the attack. Reports in German and Kosovo media outlets have said the men were intelligence officers but Berlin has refused to comment on the issue.

If convicted of the charges the men could be facing up to 20 years.
