Gemma Arterton keeps style simple

Gemma Arterton hasn't got time to wear anything "fancy".

The stunning British actress - who recently became the face of clothing label G-Star - says her style is quite simple and dresses in practical clothes to suit her busy lifestyle.

Speaking at the star-studded G-Star RAW party in London last month in an exclusive video for BANG Showbiz, Gemma said of her look: "For me it's kind of simple really. I don't really go for anything too embellished or fancy or frilly or girly and it has to be easy because I haven't got time for anything that's too difficult!

"I just like putting on a pair jeans and jacket and going, although I do like heels - I've got a passion for shoes, but I always end up wearing the one same pair of shoes. But it works with my lifestyle because I'm always running around so it doesn't work for me to wear tight skirts and corsets, or whatever it is! Jeans are definitely the way forward."

Gemma - who has her own blog for G-Star http://gemma.g-star.com/ - says she was keen to work with the luxurious brand because they shared the same beliefs as her.

She said: "What attracted to me to the brand was that I just loved how confident they were in their own look. They came to me as they liked that I was an actress and came from a working class background and I think that is what the brand is like. It's very edgy and tough, yet at the same time it's very elegant and quite beautiful."
