Britain's Prince William and Kate Middleton have chosen to have their bachelor and bachelorette parties in Britain under security advice.
The pair - who will marry on April 29 - have been advised against taking trips abroad to celebrate their last days of singledom.
William's brother Prince Harry - who was reportedly planning to host two parties for William, 28, including a burlesque night in South Africa - has been told to plan festivities in the UK only while Kate's sister Pippa Middleton has also received the same advice from the royal security team who need to keep close tabs on the future bride-to-be
A palace source said yesterday Kate, 29, and William have also made it known they don't want lavish trips abroad while the country is in recovery from recession.
The insider told Britain's Daily Mirror: "Both parties will be low-key - they won't be falling out of nightclubs."
It had been reported that William was having two parties to celebrate his last days of bachelorhood including a lavish party in London and an evening at a risque burlesque club in Cape Town with a close group of friends in March.
Kate, meanwhile, reportedly has a more sedate three-day bachelorette party planned with a small number of guests invited to either Balmoral House or Frogmore House.
It includes an afternoon of pampering, followed by a party with DJ the next day then a formal lunch with Kate's mother Carole, cousins and female members of the royal family on the third day.
The pair are also said to be planning a low-key honeymoon to the Scilly Isles for two.
