Guns N' Roses are considering reuniting for the Super Bowl show next year.
Lead singer Axl Rose is the only original member still playing with the 'Paradise City' group but reports suggest the entire band - including Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagen, Dizzy Reed and Steven Adler - are currently involved in preliminary talks to reconvene for a spectacular half time performance at the NFL showpiece game.
However sports website Kentsterling.com which broke the news has warned that "talks are still in the very early stages, and it may turn into nothing".
Guitarist Slash performed at this year's Super Bowl on Sunday (06.02.11) with the Black Eyed Peas and Usher and recently said he would be open to the possibility of a reunion but only if Axl made the first contact.
He said: "That would be a call I would be surprised to get. If that really happened, I would have to clean out my junk drawer too but I don't see it happening. But if it did happen, I would do whatever it takes to at least have a conversation about it."
However this week Axl responded to speculation of a reunion tour as "a collection of random ideas adding that he was focusing on "prior involvements that had nothing to do with old GN'R."
