Daisy Lowe's charity purse

Daisy Lowe is among a host of stars who have donated their purses to charity.

The 22-year-old model - daughter of designer Pearl Lowe and rocker Gavin Rossdale - has joined celebrities such as radio presenter Edith Bowman, The Hossiers and mother Pearl to give their wallets to UK charity Oxfam, as part of its new 100 per cent giving campaign.

Daisy - who gave away a Lulu Guinness sequined purse - said: "I'm thrilled to be supporting Oxfam's 100 per cent giving campaign as it's something I feel is very important. Every donation made can really make a difference, and by doing something so simple as donating a wallet can help boost awareness of this new scheme."

Edith - who donated a vintage coin-purse - added: "I'm delighted to be able to lend my support to 100 per cent giving as it's a clever but simple way of helping the public's donations go as far as possible."

Each wallet, complete with a 'purse-onal' item or message from the owner, will be sold on Oxfam's online charity shop on 20th February.

100 per cent giving is the first time ever that a major UK charity is offering a donation scheme where every penny is guaranteed to go directly to the cause.

This is possible because PayPal is paying the running costs on all donations made to the charity in February via www.oxfam.org.uk/giving
