'Dancing on Ice' war hero Johnson Beharry's life is set to be the subject of a new movie.
The serviceman - who was awarded the Victoria Cross in 2005 after driving his fellow troops to safety, despite sustaining horrific brain injuries - says film producers have approached him about making a biopic of him, with 'Slumdog Millionaire' star Dev Patel favourite to play him.
He told The Sun newspaper: "There is serious talk about a movie. I've had several approaches. There is talk the kid from 'Slumdog Millionaire' could play me. I am going to stand back and let them decide what will work.
"I would be excited if it tells my story. It is about raising awareness for injured people who get injured. I visit a lot of them to try and inspire them and say, 'Look what I have achieved'. "
Johnson - who is partnered by Jodeyne Higgins on the ITV1 show - recently admitted his brain injuries from serving on the frontline are starting to have an impact on his 'Dancing On Ice' performances, as he's finding difficult to learn tricky routines.
He said: "It's been really difficult learning my routine this week. Early on I had a total memory block. Each contestant has to skate the length of the rink alone and the footwork was too much."
