AP Top 25 College Basketball Schedule Tuesday: #6 Texas Longhorns Face #8 Notre Dame Irish at Maui Invitational

The AP Top 25 college basketball schedule for Tuesday will feature a big early-season matchup between two heavyweights as the #6 Texas Longhorns (3-0) face the #8 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (3-0) in the semifinals of the Maui Invitational in Hawaii.

Notre Dame pounded Indiana 88-50 on Monday night while Texas had no trouble with St. Louis, collecting a 68-50 victory to reach the semifinals. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. ET.

On the other side of the bracket the #1 North Carolina Tar Heels (4-0) will meet Oregon at 9:30 p.m. ET with the winner facing the Notre Dame or Texas for the Maui Invitational title.

The #4 Pittsburgh Panthers (4-0) will also be in action on Tuesday taking on Belmont at 7:00 p.m. ET.

The #20 Villanova Wildcats (3-0) are facing Monmouth in the Philly Hoop Group Classic on Tuesday evening with tip-off scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.

In the O’Reilly Auto Parts CBE Classic title game the #22 Kansas Jayhawks (3-0) will meet the Syracuse Orange at 10:00 p.m. ET while the #17 Florida Gators will look to bounce back from their disappointing loss to Syracuse when they face Washington at 7:45 p.m. ET.

The #15 Marquette Golden Eagles (3-0) do battle with Texas Southern at 8:00 p.m. ET and #24 Davidson (3-1) faces Loyola (MD) at 8:00 p.m. ET.
