Katie Price's mother has blasted Peter Andre for calling in lawyers over a burn his and the model's daughter suffered while on holiday.
Princess Tiaamii, three, was left with a burn after what was described as a "fluke accident" during a trip to Swiss ski resort Klosters with her mother, grandmother Amy Price and her aunt Sophie, Katie's sister.
Police quizzed the 32-year-old star about the incident after receiving a phone call about it, and Peter contacted his legal team after discovering the injury while she was staying at his house and got what he believed to be an inadequate explanation of what happened from his ex-wife.
Amy, 57, has now slammed Peter for overreacting and portraying Katie as a bad parent.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I don't understand why Pete is having a go at Kate.
"Her sister Sophie and I were the ones with Princess when it happened and I know it was a fluke accident - and just how minor it is."
Amy is adamant Peter - who also has a five-year-old son Junior with the blonde beauty - should know what a serious burn is because he was married to Katie when her eight-year-old son Harvey climbed into a bath and scalded himself four years ago.
She said: "Pete knows from what happened to Harvey what a bad burn is - and to suggest Princess's scald is a bad burn is simply outrageous.
She added: "Princess went straight back to playing. She slept soundly without pain and a week later there was barely a mark on her.
"If Pete wants to take issue with anyone it should be with me and Sophie. He has my number if he wants to talk about it."
