Lily Cole splits from boyfriend

Lily Cole has split from her boyfriend of two-and-a-half years.

The model has called time on her relationship with 'Without A Trace' actor Enrique Murciano less than six weeks after they returned from a break in the Caribbean together, referring to him as her "ex" at a post-BAFTAs party in London on Sunday (13.02.11).

The 22-year-old catwalk star - who has dyed her trademark red locks black - sought comfort with male model David Gandy, staying at his side for most of the night at the Weinstein Company and Momentum bash held at new hotel W London - Leicester Square.

A source told the Daily Mail newspaper: "Lily and David looked extremely friendly and very cosy together."

Friends close to Lily blame the distance between her and Enrique, 37, and their respective workloads - the model is currently studying History of Art at Cambridge University and recently accepted a role on BBC sci-fi series 'Doctor Who' - for the break-up.

A source said: "Lily is focusing on her final exams and is still flying around the world for modelling assignments, while Enrique is filming in Los Angeles all the time."

Other guests at Sunday's party included Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, 'Harry Potter' stars Emma Watson and Rupert Grint and actress Gemma Arterton.
