AP Top 25 College Basketball Schedule Wednesday: #1 UNC Tar Heels Face #8 Notre Dame Fighting Irish in Maui Invitational Championship

The AP Top 25 college basketball schedule for Wednesday will feature a huge showdown between the #1 North Carolina Tar Heels (4-0) and the #8 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (5-0) in the Maui Invitational championship.

Notre Dame earned their ticket to the title game with an 81-80 victory over the #6 Texas Longhorns on Tuesday night while North Carolina had little trouble in disposing of Oregon 98-69 in the other semifinals game. Tip-off is set for 10:00 p.m. ET.

The Longhorns will be playing in the consolation game where they will face the Ducks with game time set for 4:30 p.m. ET.

In the semifinals of the Dick’s Sporting Goods NIT Season Tip-Off the #10 Purdue Boilermakers (4-0) will face the Boston College Eagles at 7:00 p.m. On the other side of the bracket the #11 Oklahoma Sooners will take on UAB (4-0) at 9:00 p.m. ET.
