Kym Marsh has been released from hospital.
The 'Coronation Street' actress - whose son Archie died in February 2009 after he was born 18 weeks early - has spent a week under medical observation after having steroid treatment to protect her unborn baby girl's lungs but has now been allowed to return home to fiance Jamie Lomas.
A spokesperson for the show told the Mail Online website: "I spoke to her and she's in good spirits. She's been backwards and forwards to hospital since she went on maternity leave as they're monitoring her carefully, but she's doing really well."
The 34-year-old actress - who also has children David, 15, and 13-year-old Emily from a previous relationship - has also been diagnosed with an incompetent cervix, meaning doctors have to keep a closer eye on her to prevent her going into early labour.
She explained in her column for new! magazine: "I've had a difficult pregnancy and been on modified bed rest for over two moths. I was diagnosed with an incompetent cervix, which is when your cervix is too weak to stay closed during pregnancy, so I had to have a cervical stitch at 17 weeks.
"I've also had steroids to mature the baby's lungs in case she's born early. Because of what happened with Archie, my pregnancy was considered 'high risk' and the doctors have been keeping a close eye on me. If they hadn't, I'd have lost her."
