Terrorist Attacks Targeting Westerners in Mumbai Leave Up to 80 Dead, More than 100 Injured

Terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India have killed at least 80 dead and more than 100 injured and those numbers will likely rise as the violence continues to leave the city under siege.

The terrorists targeted hotels, cinemas and restaurants popular with westerners as gunfire and explosives rocked a number of different locations.

While there has been no clear identity on the attackers early reports have indicated they were likely Islamic extremists. According to witnesses who were at the scenes of the attacks the terrorists were separating British and American citizens from the rest of the people.

Among the locations that were attacked were the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, the Oberoi Hotel and the Leopold Café, all popular spots for tourists and westerners.
