The long running television series the Bachelor attempts to pair up eligible men with their soul mates. This seasons Bachelor Brad Womack along with his top three choices went to Antigua and appear in the 2011 issue of The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. One of the three girls got the boot last night on Valentine’s Day most likely tarnishing that holiday for the poor soul.
Like Bachelors before him this season’s contestant Brad Womack appears to choose his mates based on sex appeal instead of an emotional connection, which isn’t always the best way to start a serious relationship. Shortly before this season started Brad asked his on again off again girlfriend of eight years to marry him. Good thing she said no otherwise they would be hiring divorce lawyers. Fans of the show were happy he gave cut lose one bachelorette that seemed a bit psychotic. The 19 seasons of the show have only resulted in two marriages. Not good odds for a show that strives to make love connections.
Courting in front of television cameras doesn’t seem to be a recipe for close intimate relationship. Over 40 percent of modern marriages end in divorce with assistance from a divorce attorney. A marriage is supposed to be a sacred bond between two people. On the Bachelor which is viewed by thousands how many of these bonds can be truly intimate. Unions made in haste lead people to a divorce lawyer and court.
