Lindsay Lohan's legal team wants to see a surveillance video which allegedly shows her stealing a $2,500 necklace.
The 24-year-old star has been accused by boutique Kamofie & Company of stealing the necklace on January 22, but the owner has changed her story, giving Lindsay's legal team reason to want to see the tape.
Originally she is accused of putting the necklace in a Chanel bag, but the owner later claimed she saw her walk out wearing the item.
The 'Mean Girls' actress' lawyer Shawn Holley told RadarOnline.com: "I'm sure the LAPD and the DA's Office have a good reason for not having turned over a key piece of evidence in the cast, but I can't imagine what it is."
Last week Lindsay pleaded not guilty to felony grand theft at the Los Angeles Airport Court, and earlier today (15.02.11) her father Michael claimed they had a new witness who believes the necklace is worth a third of the price reported.
He said: "A man contacted Lindsay's camp and told them he went into the jewellery store way before Lindsay did and was interested in buying the necklace. They told him it was $800."
