Knicks Stoudemire Will Play Against the Hawks
Questionable for the All Star Game
Amare Stoudemire is going to play on Wednesday night against the Hawks, but explains that his performance in the All Star Game is going to depend on how his toe feels. Stoudemire sprained his right big toe in a game three days ago, but was able to compete in full contact practice today.
The game on Wednesday, the last before the All Star break, will be a rematch of a game that resulted in suspensions from the league and trash talk from both sides. Stoudemire will be matched up against another All Star, Al Horford, and sounds like he wants another shot to beat Horford's Hawks.
"It's going to be a very, very intense game after what happened in
Atlanta, e don't want to see me. I watched him play in Florida, and I've seen
him play a few years in Atlanta. We've got two different games, and
we'll see how it plays out tomorrow."
The Hawks are currently two places ahead of the Knicks in the playoff hunt. The teams are four and six, respectively.
