Big 3 Lead Heat in Victory
Wade, James and Bosh team up for 90 points
Lebron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh have come under a lot of criticism this year for a variety of reasons. There is little to criticize about their performance last night. In a 110-103 victory over the Indiana Pacers, the Miami Heat's "Big 3" scored 90 points and showed mettle to hold on to the win.
Dwayne Wade scored 31 points in the first half of the game, matching the Heat's franchise record. He would add 10 more in the second half and finish with 41 points and 12 rebounds. Bosh and James did much of their work in the second half. James finished the game with 27 points and Bosh scored 22, but 19 of the last 28 Heat points came from the duo.
The Heat also played defense in the fourth quarter, holding the Pacers to 6-23 shooting from the field. The Pacers had a chance to win the game when they briefly took the lead in the fourth. Poor shooting caught up with them, and Miami closed out the game to take the win.
Leading scorers for the Pacers were Roy Hibbert with 18 and Tyler Hansbrough with 16.
