Bulls Down Bobcats as Jordan and Pippen Watch from Crowd

The Charlotte Bobcats had to feel a bit weird. They beat the Lakers in Charlotte, travel to Chicago to take on a tough Bulls team and who do they see sitting courtside?  None other than Michael Jordan himself.  The Bulls legend who revolutionized the game of basketball. He is also the majority owner of the Bobcats. But there he was in Chicago, sitting with former teammate Scottie Pippen, who helped him bring six titles to Chicago in the 1990's.

Both teams must have wanted to impress His Airness because they battled back and forth all night. Both teams had chances to pull ahead and both teams had chances to try and put the other away, but a late 3 put the Bulls ahead 10 with 3:50 left to play in the third quarter. The Bobcats pulled close, but never caught up the rest of the game.

Derrick Rose scored only 5 first half points, but woke up in the second to finish the game with 18.  He also had 13 assists. Luol Deng led the Bulls with 24 points to go along with his 4 rebounds.  For the Bobcats, Gerald Henderson lead the way with 22 points and 5 rebounds.  Stephen Jackson was second with 20 points.
