NFL Scores Week 13 Thanksgiving Day: Tennessee Titans Bounce Back from First Loss, Embarrass Detroit Lions

Chris Johnson rushed for 125 yards and had a pair of touchdowns on 16 carries, LenDale White collected 106 rushing yards and two TDs on 23 carries and the Tennessee Titans (11-1) defense held the Detroit Lions (0-12) to just 154 yards of total offense and six first downs in a 47-10 drubbing on Thanksgiving Day.

The game was never close as the Titans built a 21-3 lead in the first quarter with touchdown runs from Johnson of 6-yards and 58-yards and Dave Ball picked off Daunte Culpepper and returned it 15-yards for a score.

That lead was inflated to 35-3 in the second quarter after White found the endzone on runs of 6-yards and 2-yards before the Lions could finally find the endzone on a Culpepper to Michael Gaines 2-yard toss to put the score at 35-10 at halftime.

Tennessee dominated the second half just as much as they did the first as the defense completely shut down any offense the Lions thought about implementing. The Titans settled for four field goals from Rob Bironas, a pair in the third and a pair in the fourth, to account for their 12 points in the second half.

The Titans improved to 6-0 on the road and bounced back from their first loss of the year in impressive style.
