Tony Romo was 22/34 passing for 331 yards and three touchdowns, Jason Witten had 115 yards receiving and a TD and Terrell Owens added 98 yards receiving and a touchdown as the Dallas Cowboys (8-4) dominated the Seattle Seahawks (2-10) 34-9 on Thanksgiving Day to keep pace for a playoff spot in the NFC.
Dallas jumped to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter as Romo hooked up with Martellus Bennett on a 16-yard touchdown pass and Marion Barber scored on a 2-yard run and the Cowboys never looked back.
With the score 14-3 in the second frame the Cowboys pushed their lead to 21-3 as Romo found Witten on a 7-yard touchdown pass and after Nick Folk connected from 41-yards out the advantage was stretched to 24-3. Olindo Mare added his second field goal of the game to cut the Seahawks deficit to 24-6 at halftime.
Mare split the uprights for a third time in the third quarter to get the Seahawks to within 15 but Romo then tossed his third touchdown of the game, a 19-yarder to Owens and Dallas had the game wrapped up. Folk would add a fourth quarter field goal to account for the final points.
