Man and Son Attacked, Killed in Ciudad Juarez

A man and his young son were brutally attacked and killed late Wednesday in northern Mexico. Authorities in the border city of Ciudad Juarez say the man and 8-year-old boy were shot in their vehicle before it was set on fire.

The unidentified man was able to escape the burning car, but he died of his wounds at the scene. The boy died in the car. Authorities have not released any information on who may be responsible for the slayings.

Earlier this week, gunmen killed a 40-year-old woman and her two daughters in their Ciudad Juarez home.  A 29-year-old man was wounded in the attack.
