Lighting Science Group (“LSG”) announced the appointment of Greg Horn as the company’s chief global trade officer. In addition, Horn will become the lead manager of LSG’s interests in international joint ventures, strategic relationships and strategic investments.

For the past two and half years, Horn has worked with LSG as an operating advisor at Pegasus Capital Advisors. Prior to his position at Pegasus, Horn served as CEO of General Nutrition Centers (GNC), responsible for building the GNC brand and expanding the company from $400 million to more than $1.4 billion in revenues over his 11 years in management.

Horn also served as turnaround CEO of Garden of Life, an innovative organic food and nutrition company.
