A creature believed to be the Loch Ness Monster has been spotted in Britain.
Tom Pickles took a picture of the beast - nicknamed 'Bownessie' by locals - when he was rowing on Lake Windermere in North West England with a companion.
The humped creature, which has been spotted eight times over the past fives years, is said to be the size of three large cars and has seal-like skin.
Tom said: "It was petrifying and we paddled back to the shore straight away. At first I thought it was a dog and then saw it was much bigger and moving really quickly at about 10mph. Each hump was moving in a rippling motion and it was swimming fast.
"Its skin was like a seal's but its shape was completely abnormal - it's not like any animal I've ever seen before."
