Hunger strike over royal wedding

A Mexican teenager is on hunger strike in a bid to get an invitation to Britain's royal wedding.

Estibalis Chavez, 19, says seeing Prince William and Kate Middleton marry in Westminster Abbey on April 29 is her "only dream" and she will carry on refusing food unless she is included in their big day.

She is surviving on water alone as she camps in a blue tent near the gates to the British embassy in Mexico City.

The ardent admirer said her interest in the royal couple is inspired by William's mother, the late Princess Diana.

She said: "This is my only dream. I think she was one of the most interesting women in history, and one of the best and most beautiful."
