Image of Jesus in chair

An American couple have found the image of Jesus in their rocking chair.

Lynn and Lou Balducci of Orange County, Los Angeles say they have had the item of furniture sitting in their backyard for years but only recently noticed that the wood had warped to look like the Son of God.

Lou discovered the formation when he threw some old cushions away and Lynn says everyone agreed that it looked like the Messiah.

She explained: "He didn't think too much of it at first. He showed it to me and to a few of our friends and everyone agreed that it was indeed an image of Jesus."

The pair, who claim they're not overly religious, will keep the chair in the hope it might inspire those who see it.
