Klepto kitty steals from homes

A cat has stolen more than 600 items from homes in a US neighbourhood over the past three years.

Dusty has been nicknamed 'Klepto Kitty' after being caught on camera swiping as many as 11 possessions in one night from houses in the Californian town of San Mateo.

The cheeky feline has a particular penchant for women's clothing and has even been caught with a bra between his teeth.

His owner Jean Chu said: "He has taken towels, gloves, shoes, socks, toys..."

Luckily, nearby residents don't mind Dusty's antics - but are often having to visit Jean to reclaim what's theirs.
