NBA ready for All- Star Weekend

by Daun Lee

Basketball fans in Miami will be revved up for a weekend of fun. For many fans this game is more about the parties and parades. Rappers Lil Wayne and Drake have scheduled performances during this All-Star weekend. The bars will be full and most certainly house parties will rage on as this much anticipated sporting event gets underway.

The connection between booze and sports is undeniable. Bars with big screen televisions often play host to large sporting events to fill the house with beer guzzling sports fans. Such events generate lots of revenue and give ball fans the opportunity to congregate. Fans who don’t like bars will host house parties. Unfortunately, when the game is over these fans will hit the streets in their vehicles.

Drunk driving is a common occurrence despite the safety risks. Over indulging in alcohol lowers people’s inhibitions and often times they make irrational decisions to get behind the wheel. Even a small amount of alcohol in the blood stream can get a person in trouble; trouble that only DUI attorney can help with.

The excitement of a big game can fool people into thinking they are fine to drive. Driving while drunk will land a person in jail and cost a great deal of money but a DUI lawyer may be able to help. The courts are tough of people who break the DUI laws. Hiring a DUI attorney can assist in reduction of penalties with their expertise.
