NFL Scores Week 13: Denver Broncos Go on Road and Snap New York Jets Five Game Winning Streak

Jay Cutler threw for 357 yards and two touchdowns, Peyton Hillis collected 129 yards rushing and a TD and Eddie Royal had 84 yards receiving and a score as the Denver Broncos (7-5) went on the road and knocked off the New York Jets (8-4) 34-17 to snap their five-game winning streak.

While the Broncos offense racked up 484 yards it was their defense that provided the first points as Vernon Fox picked up a fumble and went 29-yards for a touchdown. The Jets answered right away as Thomas Jones went 59-yards on the ground to even the score at 7-7. Jay Cutler put the Broncos back in front when he hit Royal on a 59-yard touchdown pass and Matt Prater kicked a 25-yard field goal to give the Broncos a 17-7 advantage heading into the fourth.

Jones brought the Jets back to within three when he scored on a 29-yard touchdown run but the Broncos answered once again as Hillis pounded in a one-yard touchdown run and Prater hit a 35-yard field goal with three seconds left in the half for a 27-14 advantage.

Jay Feely brought the Jet to within 27-17 with a field goal in the third quarter but the Broncos put the game away in the fourth when Cutler hooked up with Brandon Stokley on a 36-yard touchdown pass and the Jets had no answer.
