Katie Price and Russell Kane scoop places in Let's Dance final

Katie Price and Russell Kane have scooped places in the 'Let's Dance for Comic Relief' final.

The 30-year-old comedian - who drew some of the biggest laughs of last night's (19.02.11) show with his hilarious performance of Beyonce's 'Crazy In Love' - went straight through to the final stage of the charity competition after his routine was dubbed the "greatest on British television".

'Inbetweeners' actor and show judge Greg Davies said: "I think we might have seen the greatest dance routine on British television."

Fellow judge Graham Norton added: "When I'm on my deathbed I will shut my eyes and see that again! I am amazed."

Meanwhile, Katie - who donned a black bouffant wig, PVC outfit and false moustache to perform Queen's iconic hit 'I Want To Break Free' - beat off stiff competition from 'Waterloo Road' actors Philip Martin Brown and Rebecca Ryan to land the second place in the final.

Graham told her: "I love you, Katie Price. That was just fearless. Now you can safely say you are as good at dancing as everything else you do, young lady!"

Following the show, the 32-year-old former glamour model took to twitter to thank fans for putting her through to the final, before admitting she was "jealous" of the toned legs Russell Kane showcased in his slinky orange Beyonce dress.

She said: "Thank you everyone who voted. Ahhh it means I have to do it again. How scary!! So jealous of Russell Kane's legs ha ha.(sic)"

Following two more heats - featuring the likes of Lulu and 'The Mighty Boosh' star Noel Fielding' - Katie and Russell will compete in the 'Let's Dance for Comic Relief' final on March 12, which is hoped to raise funds for disadvantaged people living in the UK and Africa.
