Kerry Katona became the latest contestant to bow out of 'Dancing On Ice' last night (20.02.11).
The 30-year-old star - partnered by professional skater Dan Whiston - left the ITV1 show after landing in the bottom two for the second consecutive week alongside TV presenter Jeff Brazier and his partner Isabelle Gauthier.
After being handed a score of just nine for her routine to Pussycat Dolls hit 'Hush Hush' - her lowest-ever mark of the series - Kerry was slammed by famously harsh-tongued judge Jason Gardiner for her skating skills being "virtually extinct".
He said: "What tonight proves, Kerry, is that unequivocally your skating ability is on the endangered species list because it's virtually extinct.
"You've given up on yourself and that's a shame. You've been skating for three months and I have to question what you've been doing all this time."
However, the reality TV star's flustered skate-off attempt - which saw partner Dan almost send her crashing to the ice when he nearly dropped her during a complicated lift - was no match for Jeff's faultless routine, which Robin admitted was "the performance of the night".
After hearing she was leaving the competition, an emotional Kerry told host Phillip Schofield: "It's been more than a skating competition. I want to thank the public for voting, my kids are proud, which is what I wanted to do. A massive thank you for Daniel for all his patience."
