Kate Middleton has no sense of style according to Dame Vivienne Westwood.
The British fashion designer - who was honoured for her services to fashion by Queen Elizabeth in 2007 - revealed there is no chance she will design Kate's dress for her wedding to Prince William, 28, because she doesn't rate the bride-to-be's sartorial choices.
Vivienne said: ''I would have loved to have dressed Kate Middleton but I have to wait until she kind of catches up a bit somewhere with style.
''When people ask me where she's going to get the dress from - she's definitely not going to get it from me, or I would have heard.''
While Vivienne will not design the wedding dress for the April 29 nuptials, it has been revealed that Kate, 29, has chosen hat designer Philip Treacy to make the headgear for the royal wedding.
The Irish milliner has been commissioned to design for several members of the wedding party including the bride's mother Carole Middleton.
Kate has previously worn his creations to several high-profile events, including William's passing out at Sandhurst.
